Chef/Cook

We are looking for an experienced cook/chef to work at our women-only health and weight loss retreat this October (19-26th 2019) in southern Spain (near Jimena de la Frontera). If the partnership is successful, we have future camps planned for 2020.

Your role would be to prepare three meals and two snacks a day for 15-20 people. We use animal protein at the boot camp but many customers have specific dietary requirements (vegan, gluten free, keto) and therefore we are looking for someone experienced in plant-based cooking as well as cooking for restrictive diets.

Outside of the cooking role, you will be able to get involved in the menu planning and will procure the ingredients for the week’s meals (please keep receipts for expenses!). You will have access to our orchard and vegetable patch which has seasonal and organic produce. You are required to have your own transportation, but travel and fuel can be expensed. There may be the opportunity for you to develop extra features as the business develops, including cooking demonstrations and nutrition talks to guests.

During the week there will be house(kitchen)-keeping tasks such as emptying and reloading the dishwasher as well as setting the table for each meal and maintaining kitchen hygiene. We are looking for someone who can become an integral part of our team.

We are a small and friendly team who take pride in the customer’s experience. Our training team spent their military careers in the Royal Marines and Special Forces before turning their hand to helping women get fit and lose weight.

The salary for the week is a fixed £750 (€800). Shared accommodation and food provided.
